Studies on experimental anti-inflammatory, analgesic and hemostasis effects of "Vien tri HV" on experimental animals

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the anti-inflammation, analgesic, and hemostatic effects of “Vien tri HV” on experimental animals. This is an experimental study with a control group. Studying the anti-inflammatory effect of the rectum on the white rat model causing hemorrhoids, “Vien tri HV” was used at doses of 0.7 g/kg/day and 1.4 g/kg/day, the level of inflammation at the site was assessed by macroscopic examination, rectal index, degree of extravasation into the rectal tissue as determined by the amount of evans blue present in the rectal tissue, and microscopic appearance of the rectum. Studying the analgesic effect on the model of causing abdominal cramps by acetic acid, “Vien tri HV” was used at a dose of 1.2 g/kg/day and 2.4 g. /kg/day in mice (equivalent to the clinical dose and twice the clinical dose) to study the experimental analgesic effect. Evaluating the hemostatic effect on a model of bleeding caused by tail cutting of white rats, “Vien tri HV” was used at doses of 0.7 g/kg/day and 1.4 g/kg/day, effective hemostasis was assessed based on bleeding time and blood loss. Results showed that hard capsules “Vien tri HV” administered at a dose of 0.7g/kg/day and 1.4g/kg/day had anti-inflammatory effects on a model of causing hemorrhoids in white rats with croton oil solution and have hemostatic effects, shorten bleeding time, this effect of similar preparations equivalent to the reference drug carbazochrome 12mg/kg/day. Results showed that hard capsules “Vien tri HV”administered to white mice at doses of 1.2g/kg/day and 2.4g/kg/day significantly reduced pain in the acetic acid-induced colic model. It could be concluded that “Vien tri HV” has an experimental effect on anti-inflammation, analgesic and hemostasis.
