Bệnh lắng đọng amyloid là một nhóm các rối loạn nghiêm trọng, hiếm gặp do lắng đọng protein amyloid trong các mô như thận, tim và não. Chúng tôi báo cáo 3 trường hợp tổn thương thận do lắng đọng amyloid được chẩn đoán và điều trị tại bệnh viện Bạch Mai trong khoảng thời gian từ tháng 1/2024 đến tháng 3/2025. Tất cả các trường hợp đều được xác lập chẩn đoán thông qua sinh thiết thận, chứng minh lắng đọng amyloid tại thận với kỹ thuật nhuộm đỏ Công - gô đặc trưng. Kết quả đáp ứng trên thận không khả quan của cả ba trường hợp cho thấy bệnh thận do lắng đọng amyloid vẫn là một thách thức trong chẩn đoán và điều trị. Báo cáo này nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc sàng lọc amyloid như một nguyên nhân thứ phát gây ra hội chứng thận hư ở người lớn tuổi, đồng thời, nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của sinh thiết thận trong việc chẩn đoán và điều trị hội chứng thận hư ở nhóm bệnh nhân này.
