Chúng tôi báo cáo trường hợp bệnh nhân nữ 14 tuổi mắc lupus hoạt động mạnh với suy thận cấp gây vô niệu và xuất huyết tiêu hóa lan tỏa, được điều trị bằng lọc máu liên tục kết hợp lọc hấp phụ. Các chỉ số viêm, chức năng thận và huyết học được theo dõi trước lọc và sau 24, 48, 72 giờ. Kết quả cho thấy IL-6 giảm từ 612 xuống 68,1 pg/mL sau 72 giờ, Procalcitonin (PCT) giảm nhanh trong 48 giờ đầu, ure và creatinine giảm dần, xuất huyết tiêu hóa được kiểm soát, có nước tiểu trở lại từ ngày thứ 7 và ngừng được lọc máu liên tục. Tuy nhiên, do có sự phối hợp với nhiều biện pháp điều trị khác như corticosteroid liều cao, kháng sinh phổ rộng, truyền máu và hồi sức tích cực khác nên chưa thể xác định mối liên quan nhân quả của từng can thiệp với sự cải thiện lâm sàng. Mặc dù vậy, trường hợp này gợi ý rằng phối hợp lọc máu liên tục và lọc hấp phụ có thể là một lựa chọn hỗ trợ tiềm năng trong lupus nặng có suy thận cấp và xuất huyết tiêu hóa.
