Nghiên cứu nhằm mục tiêu mô tả đặc điểm lâm sàng trầm cảm ở người bệnh hội chứng ruột kích thích tại Bệnh viện Bạch Mai năm 2025 - 2026. Thiết kế nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 164 người bệnh cho thấy phần lớn đối tượng là nữ (64,0%), tuổi trung bình 49,2 ± 13,8 và thể tiêu chảy là thường gặp nhất (66,5%). Tỷ lệ trầm cảm theo ICD-10 là 24,4%, trong đó thể tiêu chảy ghi nhận tỷ lệ cao hơn so với các thể khác (30,3%). Các triệu chứng chính thường gặp bao gồm khí sắc giảm (100%) và giảm năng lượng, tăng mệt mỏi (95,0%). Các triệu chứng phổ biến gồm rối loạn giấc ngủ (77,5%), giảm tập trung chú ý (65,0%) và thay đổi cảm giác ngon miệng (62,5%). Triệu chứng cơ thể nổi bật là mất những quan tâm, thích thú trước đây. Kết quả cho thấy trầm cảm là tình trạng thường gặp ở người bệnh hội chứng ruột kích thích, với biểu hiện lâm sàng phong phú, trong đó các triệu chứng cơ thể chiếm ưu thế, có thể ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng cuộc sống và hiệu quả điều trị, do đó cần được nhận diện sớm và can thiệp kịp thời.
