Mối liên quan giữa loãng xương và suy yếu ở phụ nữ cao tuổi

Nghiên cứu cắt ngang mô tả 294 bệnh nhân nữ cao tuổi tại phòng khám Nội Cơ xương khớp và phòng khám Lão khoa, Bệnh viện Đại học Y Dược Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh từ tháng 08/2024 đến tháng 07/2025 nhằm xác định mối liên quan giữa loãng xương và suy yếu. Kết quả cho thấy loãng xương có mối liên quan độc lập với suy yếu (OR = 2,33; p = 0,048). Ngoài ra các yếu tố khác như tuổi mãn kinh (OR = 0,87; p = 0,002), phụ thuộc IADL (OR = 9,59; p < 0,001), chu vi bắp chân (OR = 0,82; p = 0,018) cũng liên quan độc lập với suy yếu ở phụ nữ cao tuổi. Tóm lại, loãng xương, tuổi mãn kinh, phụ thuộc IADL, chu vi bắp chân có liên quan đến tình trạng suy yếu ở phụ nữ cao tuổi.
