Ung thư biểu mô tế bào hình thoi là một biến thể hiếm gặp của ung thư vú, được xếp loại trong nhóm ung thư biểu mô thể dị sản. U được đặc trưng bởi các thành phần giống trung mô, có thể có cấu trúc biểu mô hoặc không, dễ gây nhầm lẫn với một sarcoma. U có tiên lượng xấu với tỷ lệ tái phát và di căn cao. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là mô tả một trường hợp ung thư biểu mô tế bào hình thoi tuyến vú (ung thư biểu mô dạng sarcoma). Thiết kế nghiên cứu mô tả ca bệnh: bệnh nhân nữ 61 tuổi đi khám vì tự sờ thấy khối ở vú trái. Bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán là ung thư biểu mô tế bào hình thoi. Chẩn đoán được đưa ra dựa trên sự phân tích kết hợp giữa hình ảnh mô bệnh học và hóa mô miễn dịch. Cần nghiên cứu nhiều trường hợp khác để đưa ra được sự đồng thuận trong chẩn đoán và điều trị. Kết quả nghiên cứu sẽ đóng góp cho thực tiễn lâm sàng ca bệnh ung thư biểu mô tế bào hình thoi của tuyến vú.
