18. Adherence to antiviral drug in patients with chronic hepatitis B at Haiphong International Hospital

Abstract
A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted at Hai Phong International Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022, on 200 chronic hepatitis B patients with the aim of describing the rate of adherence to oral antiviral and associated factors. The results showed that the rate of adherence to oral antiviral assessed through the CEAT-HBV questionnaire was quite low, accounting for 26.5%. Marital status was determined to have a statistically significant relationship with treatment adherence (p = 0.025). Specifically, married patients are 4.73 times more likely to comply to treatment than single individuals (OR = 4,73; 95%CI: 1,07 - 20,80).
