Abstract

The objective of the study is to evaluate treatment outcomes and identify prognostic factors for mortality after treatment in patients with acute ischemic stroke at various units in Ha Noi. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted from August 1st, 2022 to August 31st, 2022 on 680 patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to one of the units: Bach Mai Hospital, Hospital of Hanoi Medical University, and 103 Military Hospital. Results: among patients receiving revascularization therapy, there was a high proportion of patients with moderate NIHSS (5 - 14) and severe NIHSS (15 - 25) at 62.6% and 32.6% respectively. The proportion of patients with ASPECT scores above 6 and under 6 was 67.4% and 6.1% respectively. The figures for TICI 2b-3 was 6.1, and mRS ranged from 0 to 2 accounting for 44.9% at hospital discharge and 55.9% after 90 days of discharge. Overall mortality was 1.2%. NIHSS and ASPECT assessment plays an important role in the prognosis of mortality. The treatment outcomes of ischemic stroke depend on early diagnosis and intervention.
