25. Attitude towards the career of nursing students at Ha Dong Medical College and some related factors

Abstract
The study aims to describe nursing students' attitudes toward the profession and analyze factors related to attitudes toward the profession. This is a cross-sectional descriptive research design conducted on 241 first- and third-year Nursing college students at Ha Dong Medical College through a self-completed questionnaire. The results showed that 80.1% of students had a positive attitude towards their career. There are 3 factors related to students' career attitudes: gender (AOR = 3.28, 95% CI: 1.42 - 7.60), patient care experience (AOR = 2.63, 95% CI: 1.27 - 5.43), career orientation (AOR = 4.64, 95% CI: 2.14 - 10.06). It is necessary to organize nursing career orientation to enhance positive attitudes towards the profession.
