36. Acute myocardial infartion complicated with left ventricular free - wall rupture: A case report

Abstract
A 69-year-old female presented to the hospital with chest pain, and was diagnosed with non ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) and had cardiac arrest while awaiting percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). She underwent a successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency test performed immediately afterwards demonstrated acute cardiac tamponade and severe hemopericardium. An emergency operation was performed and the MI-induced left ventricular free-wall rupture was treated successfully.
