Anti-skin aging effects of HA11 capsules on experimental animals
Main Article Content
Abstract
As society evolves, the aspiration for beauty, particularly skin rejuvenation, is increasingly emphasized. Natural skin care products have been researched for their numerous advantages, such as availability, minimal side effects, reasonable cost, and effectiveness comparable to modern medical products. HA11 capsules consist of five ingredients: curcumin, Sesamum orientale L. Extract, Houttuynia cordata Thunb Extract, Perilla frutescens (L.) Breit Extract, and Ginseng Radix Rubra Extract, all of which are natural components with established anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and collagen-boosting properties. This project was conducted to provide scientific evidence regarding the oral anti- skin aging effects of HA11 capsules on experimental animals. The anti-skin aging effect was examined using a skin aging model induced by D-galactose in Swiss Albino mice. Mice received subcutaneous injections of D-galactose at 1000 mg/kg and were administered HA11 capsules orally at 0.42 g/kg/day or 1.26 g/kg/day, or vitamin C at 100 mg/kg daily for 42 consecutive days. Research findings indicate that HA11 capsules at 1.26 g/kg/day taken orally exhibit a significant anti- skin aging effect on the skin, while the 0.42 g/kg/day dose shows minimal impact.
