Abstract
A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on a total of 220 5th year and 6th year students at Hanoi Medical University Campus in Thanh Hoa, to survey students' scientific research skills via self-filling questionnaires. Results showed that the majority of students participating in the research self-assessed their skills in conducting scientific research at an average level. Among them, the two research skills that students self-assessed as the highest were developing research topics and research design (accounting for 20.45%). Analyzing data and using analytical tools in scientific research were rated as the lowest skills (40.46%).
