33. Overview of ultrastructural studies in biomedical tissues using transmission electron microscopy
Main Article Content
Abstract
In biomedical research, tissue and cell morphology analysis by transmission electron microscopy is an ideal method for studying intracellular structures and other types of biological matter. It provides realistic images with nanometer resolution supporting detailed visualization and evaluation of ultrastructural changes and lesions in tissues and cells. However, to observe the image clearly and realistically, researchers must ensure that the biomedical tissue sample is well prepared through steps that require high technique and precision. In this review, we aim to provide an overview of the ultrastructural study of biomedical tissues using transmission electron microscopy, and to provide an overall understanding of the ultrastructural study of biomedical samples to young researchers.
