Abstract

Laparoscopy-guided hysteroscopic tubal catheterization is one of the treatments for infertility due to proximal tube obstruction in order to provide the patient with a natural chance of pregnancy. In our study, 32 patients had successfully cannulated, then followed up with a natural pregnancy for 12 months after surgery. The cumulative pregnancy rate gradually increased over time until the end of the study. The cumulative pregnancy rate at the end of the study was 41.79%. Adnexal adhesion is a factor affecting the possibility of pregnancy after cannulating, specifically, the pregnancy rate in patients with no adnexal adhesions, mild adhesions, and moderate adhesions were: 80%, 31.43% and 7.69%, respectively. The duration of infertility and the number of successfully cannulated fallopian were related to the pregnancy rate (univariate analysis), but this association was not strong because it was affected by adnexal adhesions (multivariate analysis).
