Abstract

FU 60M Tablet is a product that combines medicinal herbs with active ingredients intended to support the treatment of erectile dysfunction. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of FU 60M tablets on the erectile function in experimental models by measuring intracavernosal pressure (ICP). Adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups and administered distilled water or test compound as follows: the biological control group (given distilled water), the positive control group (given sildenafil at 10 mg/kg), and the FU 60M group (given FU 60M tablets at 0.24 tablet/kg). Two hours after administration, rats were anesthetized and ICP was measured before and after electrical stimulation of the cavernous nerve. The results showed that FU 60M did not change baseline ICP but it significantly reduced the latency to ICP elevation and increased the peak ICP, the amplitude of ICP rise, and the duration of response compared to the biological control group. These effects were comparable to those observed with sildenafil. In conclusion, FU 60M tablets demonstrated efficacy in improving intracavernosal pressure parameters following cavernous nerve stimulation in a rat model.
