29. Surgical treatment of aberrant right subclavian artery by using the frozen elephant trunk technique

Abstract
Patient was a 60 years old male, presented at the hospital with high blood pressure with great pain from the chest front through the backside; he was diagnosed as having an aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA) with thoracic aortic aneurysm. Patient was successfully treated by aortic arch replacement surgery using the Frozen Elephant Trunk (FET) technique and translocation of the abnormal right subclavian artery to its normal position. He was discharged 10 days post- surgery without any complication.
