Psychological violence in cyberspace among students of the faculty of public health at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine

Abstract
This study describes the current situation and determine the rate of psychological violence in cyberspace experienced among students of the Faculty of Public Health at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine during the 2024 - 2025 academic year. A cross-sectional study was conducted at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine from March 2025 to May 2025 with the participation of 263 students. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and assessed with the Cyberbullying Victimization Scale (CVS). The results showed that most students used the Internet for more than five hours per day. The prevalence of psychological cyber-violence was relatively high, with 60.5% of students having experienced at least one form of psychological violence in cyberspace within the past three months. The study recommends the implementation of appropriate educational programs and psychological support to enhance coping skills among students.
