The treatment result of disseminated intravascular coagulation

Abstract
The objective of this study is to evaluate the treatment of patient with disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) at Hanoi Medical University Hospital from 2016 - 2019. The study method is cross-sectional descriptive. Study result show that the proportion of red blood cell transfusions is highest (47.06%), followed by platelet concentrations (26.49%), and frozen fresh plasma (FFP) (20.59%). Almost all patients are treated with anticoagulant therapy (71,43%). DIC treatment is effective with mean of DIC score decreases from 5.1 to 4.2, statistically significant with p < 0.05. Means of platelet count and PT% ratio increase dramatically, statistically significant with p < 0.05. In conclusion, it is necessary to timely diagnose and treat DIC, closely combine with underlying disorders treatment, blood products transfusion and anticoagulant therapy in the suitable way to improve the effectiveness of DIC treatment.
