Diseases patterns at the inpatient department of Dong Da General Hospital in 2017 - 2019

Abstract
A cross - sectional study was carried out among patients at the Inpatient Department of Dong Da General Hospital. The aim of this study was to describe the disease patterns at Dong Da General Hospital from 2017 to 2019. The results showed that, in three years from 2017 to 2019, Chapter I: Bacterial and Parasite infections and Chapter X Respiratory Diseases have the higher rates (Chapter I: 29.7%; 11.5%; 20.1% and Chapter X: 21.0%; 25.1% and 24.5% respectively). Chapter XVI for diseases originating in the perinatal period had a lower proportion of patients coming to the clinic in the years 2017 - 2019, Chapter XV for Pregnancy and postpartum had 0 - 10 cases. In the years 2017 - 2019, pneumonia and acute bronchitis and bronchiolitis were more common, with Pneumonia: 6.6%; 8.2%; 8.5% and acute bronchitis and bronchiolitis: 5.3%; 5.8%; 5.7%. Determining the disease patterns will support Dong Da General Hospital to develop a proper strategy for better planning and preparing for treatment.
