Incidence of vascular complications on the puncture site after coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention and related factors at hanoi medical university hospital.
Main Article Content
Abstract
Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention is increasingly popular, however incidence of vascular complications on the puncture site is still of less concern. Incidence of vascular complications were hematoma (11,5%), bleeding (8,2%), artery occlusion (6,6%) and pseudoaneurysm (3,3%). The artery involved in the procedure sustains vascular complications on the puncture site (OR= 0,029, 95%CI: 0,003-0,2744). The transradial approach for coronary angiography and intervention at the Cardiovascular Center-Ha Noi Medical University Hospital has a low wound incidence rate, especially arteriovenous fistulas.
