24. The effect of worklife condition on burnout phenomena among Hospital nurses at The Ho Chi Minh City Hospital, department of traumatology and orthopaedics a qualitative approach

Abstract
Burnout is a common problem among nurses. This study was conducted to explore the effect of worklife condition on burnout among nurses at the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital , Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedics. A qualitative study using the phenomenological approach was conducted on December 2021 including 12 in-depth interviews and 4 focus group discussions among nurses and 4 in-depth interviews among leaders/managers. Areas of work-life conditionsincluding work-load, control, group quality, reward, fairness, and value were analyzed . Results revealed all aforementioned areas have effect on burnout. We conclude that it is necessary to take appropriate intervention to improve worklife condition to prevent burnout and improve the quality of health services.
