Abstract
The study was conducted to assess the work environment impacted by COVID-19 and the readiness to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic of healthcare workers. The study was conducted on 225 healthcare workers at Dong Da Hospital in Hanoi for at least 2 years from May 2021 to May 2022. The results showed that most of the participants had to work overtime (56%), had increased workload (55.1%) and increased stress in the workplace (56.4%); most of healthcare workers are was willing and had confidence to take care of and treat COVID-19 patients (92.0% and 93.3% respectively). The majority want to receive more support for personal protective equipment (85.3%), finance (84.0%) and expertise (76.4%).
