Treatment outcomes of frozen shoulder periarthritis using Hydrocortisone-Lidocaine injection-de-frost injection

Abstract
This prospective, descriptive cross-sectional intervention study compared three time points to evaluate the treatment outcomes of frozen shoulder periarthritis using hydrocortisone-lidocaine injection-de-freezing in 26 patients with frozen shoulder periarthritis treated at the Department of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Hospital A, Thai Nguyen. After the intervention the VAS score decreased from 7.27 ± 1.0 to 0.54 ± 0.7 after 3 months p < 0.01); shoulder range of motion improved significantly in all three directions: shoulder flexion, internal rotation, and external rotation (p < 0.01).
