Women characteristics and quality of life were collected through face-to-face interview. Quality of life was measured using WHOQOL-BREF. The mean age of 454 eligible women was 40.5 ± 6.8. A majority of the women had normal weight (84.4%), were living in rural areas (74.2%), had no co-morbidity (94.5%), were living with husband (94.3%) and had not used any contraceptive (64.1%). The mean score of quality of life was 51.5 ± 11.4 in physical health, 54.0 ± 10.3 in mental health, 60 ± 12.9 in social relationships, and 57.2 ± 10.9 in living environment. Education level and had a husband who was frequently absent from home were two predictors of the quality of life of women. Reproductive health programs should take these two factors into account to ensure women receiving optimal care.
