37. Knowledge, attitudes, and practices of medical staffs on prevention of COVID-19 transmission and related factors to the practices on prevention at Hai Ha District Medical Center, Quang Ninh in 2022

Abstract

The study was carried out to describe the knowledge, attitudes and practices of medical staffs on prevention of COVID-19 transmission and identify related factors at Hai Ha District Medical Center, Quang Ninh in 2022. This is a cross-sectional study conducted from December 2021 to April 2022. There were 140 medical staffs participating in the study through the self-administered questionnaire method; 45.7% were males, with an average of 34.01 years of age. The results of the assessment showed that the rate of having good knowledge was 22.1%, good attitudes was 97.1% and good practices was 26.4%. Factors related to having good practices of medical staffs include being regularly supported by colleagues (OR = 3.17; 95%CI: 1.36 - 7.38) and having positive mental health (OR = 3.15; 95%CI: 1.20 - 8.23).
