12. Foreign body in renal pelvis collection through the nephrostomy tube: Two cases report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Although rare, foreign body of the renal pelvis has been reported in many different reports. The literature showed that most of these foreign bodies were derived from materials used in surgery and were removed by different methods. We report 2 cases of foreign bodies in the renal pelvis, both of which are materials used in urological surgery and were surgically removed by tunneling into the renal pelvis at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. There is a need for strict control of materials used both during and after surgery that are put into the patient's body to avoid possible complications.
