Main Article Content
Abstract
The study was conducted on 41 patients undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopy surgery for ureteropelvic junction stenosis at Hanoi Medical University Hospital from 2018 to 2023. The results at 1 month after surgery were 83% good, 14.6% average, 2.4% bad. Long-term follow-up results after surgery were obtained from 29 out of 41 patients (accounting for 70.73%); good results were 82.8%, average results were 10.3%, and bad results were 6.9%. There were no complicationduring surgery. Postoperative complicationsoccurred with 1 out of 41 cases having urinary tract infection after surgery, however, only medical treatment was needed; the patient's condition was stabilized and patient was discharged on the 6th day after surgery. Retroperitoneal laparoscopy surgery for ureteropelvic junction stenosis achieved good treatment results, while still retaining all the advantages of minimally invasive surgery.
