Abstract

Stent graft as the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm is increasingly recognized as a relatively safe and effective, especially for high risk patients. However, there are still rare postoperative complications that require surgical intervention. We report two cases of complications requiring surgical treatment of stent graft at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. One case involved a stent-graft branch obstruction and the other involved a stent-graft infection. We also offer a review of the literature regarding indications for surgical intervention following abdominal aortic stent graft implantation.
