59. Abstractfactors associated with anxiety, depression, and stress among healthcare workers at phu binh district General Hospital, Thai Nguyen province

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted from April 2024 to April 2025 among 134 healthcare workers at Phu Binh District General Hospital, Thai Nguyen Province, aiming to analyze factors associated with anxiety, depression, and stress. Data were collected using the DASS-21 scale and analyzed with logistic regression. Multivariate analysis showed that male gender and perceived work-related pressure were significantly associated with anxiety. Depression was associated with being a physician, having an intermediate or college education level, and insufficient income relative to personal needs. Employed in paraclinical departments and experiencing job-related pressure were significantly related to stress (p < 0.05). Consequently, a strong policy to develop mental health support programs and interventions targeting occupational factors should be implemented to reduce the risk of mental disorders among healthcare workers.
