Chất lượng số liệu trên Hệ thống quản lý thông tin tiêm chủng quốc gia tại một số tỉnh miền Bắc Việt Nam năm 2019

Abstract

The quality of data of the National Immunization Information System plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of the immunization program. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess the completeness and accuracy of the data available on the National Immunization Information System in some Northern provinces in Vietnam. Data of 620 vaccinated subjects who were in Hanoi, Hung Yen and Son La in 2019 were examined. The study showed that the quality of data on the National Immunization Information System is more accurate and complete compared to the subject's vaccination papers. The rate of children admitted to the National Immunization Information System was 81.2%. The proportion of subjects matched the demographic information was 87.7%. There was a need to strengthen supervision, support and training for health workers, as well as improving the quality of immunization management  at the local level.
