Abstract

Psoriasis is a chronic recurrent inflammatory disease where genetic factors contribute 3% of the disease's pathogenesis; as such, the identification of biological markers is an important role in the prediction of treatment response and prognosis. This study determines basic characteristics in Vietnamese psoriasis vulgaris patients, prevalence and genotype of IL-17F RS763780, IL17RA rs4819554, and HLA-Cw6.  Blood test was performed on 121 samples, then DNA and genotype achieved by CLC Main Workbench software. Mean severity is 20,31 ± 12,70 and PASI is 14,88 ± 7,59. Genotype distribution is different in every position. Gene IL-17F rs763780 has the highest AA in psoriasis patients with 58.7%, GA takes 38.0%. Gene IL-17RA rs4819554 has 53.7% GA and 27.3%AA. 35.04% patients are HLA-Cw6 negative and 64.96% are positive. Patients with positive HLA-Cw6 have 77.63% heterozygous, and 22.37% homozygous. There is no correlation among HLA-Cw6, SNP IL-17F RS763780 and IL17RA rs4819554. However, there is the correlation between IL-17F RS763780 and the severity of psoriasis.
