Abstract

The purpose was to investigate the characteristics of abdominal aorta and dilatation risk factors after endovascular aortic repair (EVAR). All the aortic parameters of the patients underwent EVAR from January 2018 to September 2019 were recorded. The patients were followed up regularly, all the events were reported in the medical records. 65.2% of patients were from 60 to 80 years old, the average aortic aneurysm neck length was 33.9 ± 11 mm, the neck diameter was 21,2 ± 0,3 mm, the length of abdominal aneurysm was 94,2 ± 13 mm and the largest aneurysm diameter was 60.4 mm. After 12 months follow up, 14.3% (6 patients) had dilatation of aortic aneurysm, 47,6% (20 patients) had over 5 mm aneurysm diameter reduction; 38,1% (16 patients) had 0 to 5 mm reduction. Aging was the main risk factor of aortic dilatation after EVAR.
