Abstract

Lung cancer is a malignancy that develops from the epithelium of the bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli or from the bronchial glands. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a lung infection caused by the tubercle bacillus. These are two fairly common diseases commonly encountered in clinical practice. Diseases often appear separately and this concept has been ingrained in the subconscious of doctors for a long time. A number of studies around the world have shown the epidemiological relationship, pathogenesis, risk and causality of these two diseases. Currently, cases of co-morbidity of these two diseases appear more frequently. We report a case diagnosed for both tuberculosis and cancer with gold standards and initially treated with surprising results. Through the report, we want to add good/rare cases to the case report bank, where doctors can use as reference for a better diagnostic approach when encountering similar occurences.
