Abstract

TD0015 consists of many components that have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, aimed at the purpose of symptomatic relief in musculoskeletal diseases. The research was performed on Wistar rats and Swiss mice to evaluate the acute and chronic anti-inflammatory effects of TD0015. Aspirin 200 mg/kg bw oral route and TD0015 at the doses of 1.2 g/kg, 3.6 g/kg bw oral route were used on Carrageenin-induced rat paw edema model and Carrageenin-induced peritonitis model. Methylprednisolon 10 mg/kg bw oral route and TD0015 at the doses of 2.4 g/kg, 7.2 g/kg bw oral route were used on the chronic anti-inflammatory effect using asbestos-induced granuloma model. At the end of the study, TD0015 at both doses had an acute anti-inflammatory effect on both models by reducing paw edema, the volume of inflammatory exudate, the number of white blood cells and the quantity of protein. TD0015 at both doses had chronic anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the formation of fibrosis, reducing the mass of granulomas and the number of inflammatory cells.
