Điều trị khuyết phần mềm sau chấn thương luôn là một thách thức đối với các phẫu thuật viên tạo hình. Hệ thống hút áp lực âm (VAC) đã cho thấy hiệu quả trong điều trị nhóm bệnh lý này. Trong y văn Việt Nam, chúng tôi chưa tìm thấy các nghiên cứu đánh giá hiệu quả của VAC sử dụng những thang điểm, thước đo đặc thù. Vì vậy, nghiên cứu này được thực hiện với hai mục tiêu: 1) Đánh giá thời gian và mức độ liền tổ chức vết thương sau đặt VAC; 2) Mô tả các biến chứng khi đặt VAC. Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 41 người bệnh khuyết phần mềm sau chấn thương từ tháng 02/2021 đến 02/2022 tại hai Khoa Chấn thương chi trên và Y học thể thao, Bệnh viện Hữu nghị Việt Đức, và Khoa Phẫu thuật tạo hình thẩm mỹ, Bệnh viện Đại học Y Hà Nội. Kết quả cho thấy, độ nặng của vết thương giảm sau đặt VAC (p < 0,001). Kết quả che phủ tổn khuyết bằng tế bào hạt cải thiện rõ rệt (p< 0,001). Các biến chứng thường gặp nhất là bợt da mép vết thương (7 trường hợp, 17,1%), chảy máu (1 trường hợp, 2,4%). Kết quả củng cố thêm bằng chứng giá trị điều trị và tính an toàn của VAC ở người bệnh khuyết phần mềm.
