Abstract

Currently, there is an increasing percentage of pregnant women with placenta accreta, however, complications from cesarean section of pregnant women with placenta accreta receive little interest; one of the most common complications is bladder injury. The purpose of this research is to determine the rate of bladder injury and analyze factors related to bladder injury in patients undergoing cesarean section with placenta accreta at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Based on the cross-sectional study of 93 patients who underwent cesarean section, the diagnosis of placenta accreta was confirmed. Results: bladder injury was 14.0%, there was a relationship between surgery time, uterine management, and placental accreta classification with the rate of bladder injury (p < 0.05).
