Abstract

Evaluating test results from two or more different methods is critical for assessing the systematic errors that occur with real patient specimens and ensure the test quality, accuracy, and reliability of the laboratory. The Troponin T test is routinely performed at the Laboratory Department - Hanoi Medical University Hospital on the Roche Cobas 8000 analyzer and on the h232 point of care testing machine in order to provide timely results. We compared the two methods using Passing-Bablock regression lỉnear model and difference plot according to CLSI EP09A3. The median deviation obtained from the difference plot was -16%, which is higher than the acceptable limit 12.05%. Deviation calculated from linear regression model at the clinically critical concentration of 52 ng/L was -13,1 ng/L, which is higher than the acceptable limit is 6,3ng/L. The results between 2 analyzer were not similar but correlated by the function y = -7.408 + 0.8836x.
