An assessment of agreement in blood test results among three testing laboratories

Abstract
Equipment similarity assessment through analytical results homology ensures the quality of test results and correct decisions are made about the use of the equipments in research and testing activities. From 40 field blood samples, 3 whole blood samples with hemoglobin concentration below 120 g/L, approximiately 120 g/L and over 120 g/L were selected and tested 7 times per sample by 3 different laboratories. Equipment similarity assessment through homology of results conducted in 3 pairs (2 units/pair) gave the best precision/repeatability similarity in pairs of units related to the ISO 15189 activity. The similarity of means for both homogeneous and heterogeneous variances was not good in all participating units.
