Triệu chứng bốc hỏa là rối loạn vận mạch phổ biến, ảnh hưởng chất lượng sống của phụ nữ tiền mãn kinh - mãn kinh (TMK-MK), tuy nhiên dữ liệu tại Việt Nam còn hạn chế. Nghiên cứu theo dõi trước-sau không nhóm chứng được thực hiện trên 85 phụ nữ TMK-MK tại Bệnh viện Hùng Vương nhằm đánh giá hiệu quả cải thiện bốc hỏa sau 1 tháng điều trị estradiol qua da kết hợp progesterone đường uống và xác định các yếu tố liên quan. Triệu chứng được đánh giá bằng thang điểm MRS. Kết quả cho thấy liệu pháp cải thiện đáng kể triệu chứng bốc hỏa (p < 0,001), đặc biệt nhóm TMK cải thiện nhiều hơn nhóm MK (-2,29 so với -1,83 điểm). Phân tích hồi quy hỗn hợp ghi nhận mãn kinh giảm hiệu quả điều trị (β = -0,51; p = 0,007), trong khi sống tại TP.HCM (β = 0,38; p = 0,010) và đã từng cắt tử cung hoặc buồng trứng (β = 0,64; p = 0,047) liên quan đáp ứng tốt hơn. Các yếu tố nhân khẩu học và mãn kinh cần được cân nhắc khi cá thể hóa liệu pháp nội tiết điều trị triệu chứng bốc hỏa.
